Definition

to tell the computer you are ready to work with an object. You can select one or more objects at a time. Usually, you select an object by clicking on it with the mouse. To select a group of objects, use MARQUEE SELECT or hold down the Shift key while clicking on individual objects until they are all included in the bounding box.
