The quaternion group H consists of the eight 2x2 matrices H = {+-1, +-i, +-j, +-k}, where 1 equals the 2x2 identity matrix, i equals the matrix [i, 0 // 0, -i], j equals the matrix [0, 1 // -1, 0], and k equals [0, i // i, 0].
