Definition
The least common multiple of two numbers a and b, lcm(a,b), is the smallest number that both a and b divide evenly. It is also the ab/gcd(a,b), where the gcd(a,b) = the greatest common divisor of both a and b.
Example
12 is the least common multiple of 6 and 4.
