Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Complex

  • Definition: The Pyruvate Dehydrogenase Complex (PDC) links glycolysis to the Kreb's cycle by producing Acetyl Coenzyme A from pyruvate. The complex consists of three enzymes which perform an oxidative alpha-ketoacid decarboxylation.
