Deuterostomia

  • Definition: A group of phyla in which cleavage is indeterminate (regulative) and ancestrally radial. The endomesoderm is enterocoelous, and the mouth is derived away from the blastopore. Includes Echinodennata, Chordata, and Hemichordata.
