Definition
While using this exponential function: y = A0 * b^x, the exponential function is considered to be in a state of exponential decay when b is lesser than 1 and greater than 0 (0 < b < 1) that the function values decrease rapidly as it moves to the right along the x-axis.

Example
When b = 1/2, the function y = (1/2)^x is in a state of exponential decay that the y values decrease as the x values increase.
